Water Illumination Tube
Description
One of the stalwarts of the sensory room, the bubble column consists of an acrylic tube containing a column of water, percolated by bubbles from a pump. It is lit from below producing a constantly changing pattern of colours and bubbles. Its quiet pump is powerful and can not only be switch-controlled by a user, but also adjusted so that the air flow matches the mood of the sensory room.
The column, assisted by the motion of the pump, vibrates slightly so that by pressing an ear to it one can feel tits pulse. By using one of our switches the user can control the speed of the pump flow to produce anything from a slow mesmeric stream of bubbles to a seething, fizzing cauldron. This feature allows the mood of the sensory room to be varied from calming to energetic. They can also be switched to different pulse modes to give more options.
Left to itself, the column will cycle through a range of colours. However, the user may change them using either our Spectrum Selecta, with its coloured buttons, or wirelessly by any of our other controllers (though you also need a Wireless Receiver).
TFH have three choices of diameter of the bubble column. The giant ones are particularly good for sharing.
Water should be changed monthly and we recommend using our additive.
