Description
For younger or pastorally insecure clients, this square bolster swing offers security and predictability. It can be hung from two or four points and moved in smooth arcs, or gently rocked. Encourage social interaction and easily accommodate several clients during an activity.
This swing allows vestibular stimulation to be given with a stable base of support. Proprioception may be incorporated by encouraging pulling to create movement. This square Bolster Therapy Swing is used for developing bilateral motor co-ordination, balance reflexes, visuomotor co-ordination, tonic (especially labyrinthine) reflex integration, improving postural (flexor and extensor) muscle tone and general stimulation of the nervous system through strong activation of the vestibular and proprioceptive system receptors.
