These carpets are made of high quality Vorwerk carpet, with PMMA optical fiber woven into the pile. They contain no heat or electricity, and can be used on top of existing flooring, or attached to a wall for a glittering, color-changing starlit scene.
The carpets are robust and hard wearing enough for spills and scuffs, but not recommended as the main carpet in heavy traffic areas or places where they may be stressed by heavy objects.
