The proprioceptive input provided by weighted items can be hugely beneficial for children with sensory processing disorders stemming from a number of conditions including Autism and Dyspraxia. Adding weight to various parts of the body can provide a sense of ‘grounding’ to help users assimilate their bodies with their surroundings which can be very calming. When worn on the wrists, weighted cuffs can also help with developing fine motor skills, such as handwriting, by sending sensory feedback to the brain from the location where fine movement is taking place. The proprioceptive stimulation can help to increase the child’s awareness of the position of their wrist, arm and hand, as well as the amount of pressure needed for writing with a pen or pencil. Product Weight: 1/2 lb. Fits wrists and ankles with a circumference 12-27 cm.
PLEASE NOTE - Only the Smiley Faces are available.

They're ok, but they don't provide any adjustment... it would only need the velcro to be larger area to accommodate different age. We had to customize the bracelets ourselves to fit our 3 year old.
