The battery instructions on the website are wrong- oddly this toy takes two different sized batteries- 2 AAAA and 1 AAA in the middle! this caused us some inconvenience as there were no instructions anywhere to indicate this and we had to go out and buy two different sets of batteries. Please make this clearer for future buyers!!

This item is not suitable for children with special needs. I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friends 10 year old child who is physically disabled. As designed she was attracted to the lights and went to grab them, however, as she touched them the wings came away from the wand. She would never be allowed to have this fan without parental assistance.
