I bought this for my wife who has advanced dementia. I was amazed how quickly she accepted it as a real animal. The animatronics are extensive with the head moving as does one leg. The purring & meows are loud and are responsive to touching the back, head & chest.
The only thing I would have preferred is a rechargeable battery. It runs on 4 C cells which can be quite hard to source these days.
I’m pleased I bought it. Btw, buy some from of tracking tag because it will go missing.

I have been able to enjoy all the mechanical features of "Kitty" as it will be called until my 9 year old grandson arrives from Edmonton in August to receive his special Birthday gift surprise. He is high level ADHD and during my research for "aids" for children, this item was suggested as something that may help Parker with his "meltdown" episodes. I have not designated a "sex" to Kitty, I will allow Parker to decide on that and what name he wishes to give to "Kitty". I will probably connect with you once Parker has received his gift and advise you of his reactions and comments. Thank you Smiles
