Fine motor skills develop with practice and repetition, use puzzles, hand strength toys and tools, stacking and sorting activities, and finger fidgets to encourage and enhance the development of motor skills with the power of play! Who Can Benefit? A variety of diagnoses and conditions may affect a child’s fine motor development, including, but not limited to: People with a developmental coordination disorder are often diagnosed with Premature birth, Neurological impairment, Developmental delay / delayed milestones, Sensory processing difficulties, Abnormal muscle tone, and Dyspraxia (motor planning difficulties).
