Budii – Seniors is a compact, wall- or shelf-mounted interactive floor and table projection system designed to deliver engaging, meaningful activities for older adults with a wide range of abilities or additional needs. Ideal for independent use or group participation, it allows friends, carers, family members—even pets—to join in.
By detecting the smallest movements, Budii provides sensory stimulation, cognitive engagement, improves communication and motor skills, reduces anxiety, and promotes relaxation. Its advanced projection technology transforms any table or floor into a vibrant, interactive experience, encouraging gentle physical activity, mental stimulation, and social connection.
In collaboration with Care Research UK, we’ve conducted an extensive project across England exploring the impact of the Budii for Seniors. Care professionals have observed positive changes in seniors using our systems, including:
- Enhanced emotional stability and overall mood
- Increased sense of self-worth and belonging
- Higher physical effort and energy levels
- Greater willingness to socialise
- Enjoyment of shared activities
Designed with expert guidance in eldercare and therapy, this suite of activities supports active participation, memory stimulation, relaxation, and fun, helping seniors remain engaged, confident, and connected.
The wide variety of activities include:
1. Interactive quizzes to encourage discussion, and maintain memory and recall
2. Scenes and sounds from nature including virtual water effects, and therapeutic colouring
3. Social games with rising difficulty and rewards, promoting physical dexterity, and joint effort
4. Nostalgic themes and music to stimulate conversation, movement, and reminiscence
